The Uganda Professional Science Teachers’ Union (UPSTU) is a registered labor union that unites science educators across Uganda. Its membership encompasses teachers of Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, ICT, Agriculture, Physical Education, Food and Nutrition in secondary schools, as well as instructors in certificate and diploma-awarding institutions like National Teachers’ Colleges (NTCs), Primary Teachers’ Colleges (PTCs), and Business, Technical, and Vocational Education and Training (BTVET) institutions. UPSTU advocates for the advancement and professional development of science teachers in Uganda.
